VCTI Promotes Academic-Business Connections Through Sharing Session at Thang Long University
Mr. Carlo Fabrizi, Secretary General of VCTI, shares insights on the global supply chain at Thang Long University
On April 20, 2026, Mr. Carlo Fabrizi, Secretary General of the Vietnam - China Trade and Investment Promotion Alliance (VCTI), had an exchange and thematic sharing session with lecturers and students of Thang Long University in Hanoi on the topic: “Made in Vietnam and Made in China: Understanding the global supply chain correctly”.

The discussion attracted the attention and active participation of a large number of the university's lecturers and students. Within the framework of the program, Mr. Carlo Fabrizi shared many practical perspectives on the global supply chain, while analyzing the true meaning behind labels such as “Made in Vietnam” and “Made in China” in the context of increasingly developing and deeply integrated international trade.
The discussions focused on the role of certificates of origin (C/O), compliance requirements, and international trade regulations, as well as how product value is allocated and created within the global supply chain. In addition, the program clarified the increasingly close ties between Vietnam and China within the regional production and trade network.
The exchange took place in an open and vibrant atmosphere with many in-depth questions, creating an opportunity for students to access practical experience from business operations and international trade promotion.

Mr. Carlo Fabrizi shared that, in his role as Secretary General of VCTI, he always highly appreciates cooperative activities and exchanges with the academic community. This is not only an opportunity to share practical experience, but also a chance to receive new perspectives from the younger generation, thereby contributing to promoting the connection between academia and business.
VCTI would like to sincerely thank Assoc. Prof. Dr. Linh, along with the faculty members and students of Thang Long University, for the warm welcome and for facilitating the successful event. The Alliance looks forward to continuing its partnership with educational institutions in the near future to enhance academic exchange, connect businesses, and promote international cooperation.
