VCTI exchanges with FPT Polytechnic students on foreign languages and career guidance
Representatives of the Vietnam-China Trade and Investment Promotion Alliance (VCTI) were invited to FPT Polytechnic to share about the journey of learning Vietnamese, the role of foreign languages, and the demand for human resources that combine “Chinese + professional skills”.
During a discussion with Chinese students, representatives from VCTI shared their practical experiences in learning and using Vietnamese. These personal stories helped the students better understand the value of foreign languages in communication, work, and connecting with different cultures.
Language not only helps in exchanging information but also opens up opportunities for accessing knowledge, exploring culture, and building cooperative relationships. For Vietnamese-Chinese connectivity activities, the ability to use the language and the understanding of the two countries’ cultures are the foundation for enhancing mutual understanding and effective coordination.
A central focus of the exchange program is the need to develop human resources that combine “Chinese + professional skills”. In addition to foreign language skills, students need to accumulate specialized knowledge, practice practical skills, and develop the ability to use language in specific work situations.
From the perspective of connecting businesses, representatives from VCTI and students discussed how to link learning Chinese with career planning. Through this, students gain a new perspective to proactively choose the appropriate field and prepare the necessary skills for future work.
Through the sharing session at FPT Polytechnic, VCTI hopes to contribute to connecting the training environment with the actual needs of businesses, encouraging students to develop their language skills and expertise simultaneously, and expanding opportunities to participate in Vietnamese-Chinese cooperation activities.
